Dwell Time (2025-2026) is an evolving ambient video cycle projected on the entrance to the former Burlington Square Mall on Church Street as part of Downtown Lights.

Dwell Time is a measure of how long visitors spend in an online or in-person space. Longer durations can lead to loss of original purpose and unplanned decisions, a phenomenon called the Gruen Effect after Austrian architect Victor Gruen, the originator of the American Shopping mall.
